Works in Progress...

These are some of the projects that we are currently working on.

An unusual double dial street clock from France, circa early 1800's.

This clock needed the dial train for the second dial, new hands, dial, weights and the usual restoration work.

An unusual Dent grasshopper escapement clock. This is a replica of a design by John Harrison, famous for his triumph in the 18th century quest for the Longitude prize.

This series shows a very unusual self winding tubular bell hall clock made by Elite in Germany. The first image below shows the winding activation relay, the photo to the right shows the worm gear and pinion. The clock drives time, strike and chime with a single weight, using a differential to transfer power to the different gear trains. The electric motor had been disconnected years ago. The clock also has a manual wind through the center of the dial.
